General Questions

At Tallassee Family Dentistry, we strive to be convenient and efficient providers of oral health care. Therefore, we are happy to accommodate your family with appointments all on the same day.

  • How often should I visit the dentist?

The American Dental Association recommends at least 2 dental visits per year. Oral disease can rapidly occur in a short amount of time. By taking a proactive approach to your oral health care, you can avoid unexpected dental issues. You can also maximize your dental insurance benefits by taking full advantage of your two cleanings per year.

  • At what age will you see my child?

We follow the American Dental Association’s recommendation that all children establish a dental home by their first birthday.

  • What should I do if I require premedication?

Please kindly give us a call 48 hours prior to your appointment so that we may discuss the reason for your premedication and call in any necessary prescriptions to your pharmacy.
